So you’re probably wondering what I’m up to suddenly talking about losing weight fast. Here’s the story: last week I visited a friend’s place where I had to climb once of those steep wheelchair ramps, and it did not end well. By the time I got myself up to the top, I was sweating, coughing, my face was red, and I was in bad shape. I had to get myself into the bathroom to splash some cool water on my cheeks, and looked up into the mirror, and I realized something: I need to lose weight. Fast.
On some level, I actually feel like I’m turning into my dad. He was a hugely fat man, with a wonderful sense of humor and a strong, family focused outlook on life. But boy, he was fat. And lately I’m becoming fat as well. Don’t misunderstand, I love my dad, but I really want to keep myself from getting to 300 pounds. Because once you reach a weight like that, there’s not really any way of turning back.
So I’ve reading up on how to lose weight really fast. My wife wants to join me, telling me that she would also like to lose some weight, which should definitely make it easier to succeed on whichever diet program we end up using. There’s an awful lot of thoughts on how to lose weight out there
I’ll keep you guys apprised of how good the diet is turning out for us. I know losing weight isn’t going to be easy, but it’s what has to happen as far as I can see, so I’ll be working hard to figure out how to lose weight fast.
